Description:

A transducer is a device that converts electrical energy and sound energy into each other. Used in echo sounders, Doppler logs and acoustic correlation logs. Converting electrical energy into sound energy is called a transmitting transducer; converting sound energy into electrical energy is a receiving transducer.
